Civs! In! Spaaaaace!

Asmodee are back at it again, with another digital board game adaptation. The latest game to get the Asmodee Digital treatment is Terraforming Mars.

It was just two weeks ago that we were talking about Fryxgames announcing Terraforming Mars: Prelude. This June release will likely coincide with Terraforming Mars going digital in Q2.

The game will play the same as the tabletop version - players will compete to tame the environment of Mars and create the best colony. However, this version of the game will support single player, online multiplayer and local multiplayer modes.

The digital version of Terraforming Mars is being developed by LuckyHammers, who have worked a lot with Sour Patch Kids for their Candy Defense and Zombie Invasion apps.

The original author, Jacob Fryxelius has also assisted in the creation of this app. This will hopefully continue to be the case, as the app moves forwards with more downloadable content and updates.

Terraforming Mars is slated for a Q2 release on iOS, Android and Steam. For more information, you can check out the Steam page for the game here.
