Super Meeple have been previewing two new board games, entitled Cuzco and U.S. Telegraph.
Near the end of February, at the Festival International des Jeux, in Cannes, France, Super Meeple were previewing two upcoming games. These games are both slated for a 2018 release.
Cuzco is a title, which most people might already know as Java.
Charles Amir Perret, a publisher at Super Meeple wrote
Designers Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling are both prolific. In fact, Java was the second in a trilogy of games, the first being Tikal, and the third being Mexica.
Cuzco will see a France-exclusive release in May 2018, with an English version being published in the U.S. later this year, via Surfin' Meeple. There are also plans with Maldito to publish in Spain, Conclave in Brazil, dv Giochi in Italy, Tendays in Japan, Surfin' Meeple in China, and Abysse Corp in France.
These publishers will be handling all future publications in these countries. There are currently no plans for distribution in Germany, England or Poland, as they have no partnership with any one publisher from these countries.
Also due out in May 2018 is Marcel-André Casasola Merkle's U.S. Telegraph. Again this is a reprinted classic, originally called Attika and designed by Hans im Glück.
The English and French language game changes the original setting to 19th Century America, when the first transcontinental telegraph was built. Each player will compete to develop a city, which will contribute to the telegraph construction.
