Junk Orbit

Renegade Game Studios have announced Junk Orbit, a new board game releasing in June 2018.

Designed by Daniel Solis, creator of such classics as Kodama and Trickster, this latest addition to his catalog is a 2-5 player game about space scavengers. It takes roughly 30-45 minutes to play.

In Junk Orbit, players compete to collect sets of junk and travel to other planets to deliver this junk to planets that see them as valuable. Dan Bojanowski, Senior Producer at Renegade Game Studios, commented:

Junk Orbit is a fantastic and very accessible space delivery game that I’m excited for both families and gamers to play! Daniel Solis has done a great job of creating a game with interesting movement and decision-making with plenty of fun nods to sci-fi pop culture. Junk Orbit has tons of replayability with advanced sides for all boards and extra ship powers to try out. Dan Bojanowski

There are 128 junk tiles to collect, in five unique ships. You must let go of some of your cargo to propel yourself forward, so the game is all about balancing what you need with what you can dump. You also can also orbit planets for extra trajectory.

Junk Orbit is will be in stores June 2018, but is available to pre-order now. It is planned to have an MSRP of $35. For more information, check out the store page on the Renegade Games website
